Professional Experience
Jon Cavendish has close to 50 years of experience in the real estate business. He began his career after college selling lots at a resort community in Terra Alta, WV. After a year, he returned to Charleston and continued working in real estate with various companies, including 12 years with Old Colony Company.
In 1986, he and Mike Thompson founded Realcorp, Inc., where he has worked as a Broker, sales agent, and appraiser. Mr. Cavendish handles commercial, industrial, and multifamily real estate and offers appraisal, brokerage, consulting, expert witness testimony, and leasing services to various banks and lending institutions. His clientele includes numerous individuals and corporations.
In 2011, Realcorp entered a new era when the company transitioned to an LLC and welcomed two new partners.
